Applicants must be born-again believers who feel called by God to help students live a life pleasing to God. Candidates will need to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Licensed teachers are highly preferred.

Responsibilities will include: reflecting the purpose of the school, motivating students to work hard, lead students to Christ, keep proper discipline in the school, maintain a well ordered classroom, plan and assess student work.

A successful Middle School Teacher will possess the following:

3. Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions

4. Ability to work with and be a part of a team

Applicants must be born-again believers who feel called by God to help students live a life pleasing to God. Candidates will need to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Applicant must have an RN license.

Responsibilities will include: screening for vision and hearing, keeping medical records up to date, training staff as needed on specific student needs (allergies, diabetes, medications, etc.), caring for sick students, teaching students regarding health topics.

A successful School Nurse will possess the following:

Applicant must be licensed by PELSB or be working toward a school counselor license. Info on this can be found here.

Responsibilities will include: counseling students on the following topics: friendship skills, academic support, social emotional skills, spiritual development, mental health and wellness, resilience, family change and grief and loss.

True Light Christian School is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as our custodian.

The Custodian shall be a born-again high school graduate who feels called of God to serve at the school. Other qualifications may be added by the Board or the Administrator as deemed appropriate. 

Responsibilities will include: complete all duties involved with maintaining, cleaning, and disinfecting all areas of the school and perform basic cleaning of specified areas on all school days.

Areas to clean include daily:

Six bathrooms

School entrance and stairwell

School hallway

Sweep and mop 2 classrooms

Empty all trash

The custodian will possess the following:

2. Wholehearted agreement with school’s Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education

3. Ability to manage tasks with interruptions

4. Ability to work with and be a part of a team

5. Ability to work independently
