2026 - 2027 Openings:

  • True Light Christian School is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as one of our Middle School Teachers.

    Applicants must be born-again believers who feel called by God to help students live a life pleasing to God. Candidates will need to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Licensed teachers are highly preferred.

    Responsibilities will include: reflecting the purpose of the school, motivating students to work hard, lead students to Christ, keep proper discipline in the school, maintain a well ordered classroom, plan and assess student work.

    A successful Middle School Teacher will possess the following:

    1. Love for Christ and children

    2. Wholehearted agreement with school’s Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education

    3. Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions

    4. Ability to work with and be a part of a team

    5. Ability to work independently

    6. Knowledge of classroom management, planning and assessing student work

    7. Regular attendance at a local Bible believing church

    True Light Christian School is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as our school Administrator.

    Applicants must be born-again believers who feel called by God to help students live a life pleasing to God. Candidates will need to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Candidates with a master’s degree are highly preferred. An ACSI or state K-12 administrators license is preferred but not required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Fiscal Oversight

    • Scheduling

    • Staff Oversight

    • Policy Development

    • Implement the Strategic Plan

    • Curriculum

    • Public Relations

    A successful Administrator will possess the following character traits:

  • True Light Christian School is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as one of our school nurse.

    Applicants must be born-again believers who feel called by God to help students live a life pleasing to God. Candidates will need to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Applicant must have an RN license.

    Responsibilities will include: screening for vision and hearing, keeping medical records up to date, training staff as needed on specific student needs (allergies, diabetes, medications, etc.), caring for sick students, teaching students regarding health topics.

    A successful School Nurse will possess the following:

    2. Wholehearted agreement with school’s Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education

    3. Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions

    4. Ability to work with and be a part of a team

    5. Ability to work independently

    6. Knowledge of student medical needs

    7. Regular attendance at a local Bible believing church

  • True Light Christian School is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as one of our school counselor.

    Applicants must be born-again believers who feel called by God to help students live a life pleasing to God. Candidates will need to hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Applicant must be licensed by PELSB or be working toward a school counselor license. Info on this can be found here.

    Responsibilities will include: counseling students on the following topics: friendship skills, academic support, social emotional skills, spiritual development, mental health and wellness, resilience, family change and grief and loss. 

    A successful School Counselor will possess the following:

    3. Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
